Women in Nuclear UK are holding their annual conference at The Midland Hotel, Manchester on Wednesday 17th May 2023. The theme of this year’s event is Push for change – Shaping and Enabling the industry transition.
They will be joined at the event by a range of exciting and inspiring speakers who will consider how to empower women in the industry to continue their career and grow as the industry grows, helping to meet the target of 30% female executive members by 2030.
They will be looking at how they can do this by:
- raising the profile of the role nuclear will play in the government’s net zero and energy security commitments
- marketing the future of nuclear as exciting
- attracting women from other industries to join nuclear
- examining how other industries are addressing the gender gap.
