Four major events in the Nuclear South West calendar will be happening all in the space of the next three months; NIA Net Zero Week, DECOM 2022, the NDA Group Supply Chain Event, and Nuclear Week in Parliament. All taking place by mid-September putting nuclear power, and the many opportunities in this sector, on the national stage.

The Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) will hold DECOM2022 on 20 July 2022. This conference will be a platform for discussing lessons learned, and progress achieved across the industry. With an international audience of 300 delegates, more than 12 high-profile speakers and an extensive range of corporate sponsors and exhibitors, DECOM2022 will be a highlight event of 2022.

The NDA also will host its ninth group supply chain event on 21 July 2022 in Telford, at which Nuclear South West will be exhibiting. It offers delegates an opportunity to network with more than 300 exhibiting companies, which are looking to attract new businesses to the nuclear decommissioning sector with particular focus on SMEs. We look forward to seeing many of you at our exhibition stand later this month.

Other events in the coming months include the widely anticipated Nuclear Week in Parliament. Events across the week aim to promote the opportunities that nuclear energy offers, bringing together key stakeholder and decision makers to hold productive conversations, and drive forward the nuclear industry.
